I need some help with installing a pod filter in my VS berlina. I don't really know much about them so any help is appreciated. I havent brought it yet but im just making sure i know how to install it before i purchase it.ok, as far as i know you take the airbox off (top and bottom peace) leaving you with just the intake pipe itself. Now will the pod filter inlet fit directly on the intake pipe outlet or do i need a adapator/convertor?

Do some pods fit directly or none of them do?now what confuses me is i have a wire going to the airbox (i think its a air temperature sensor?) since im not using the airbox no more, where the hell does this wire go when i install the pod filter?i'd imagine after the pod is installed, it will flop around since theres nothing holding it down, how do you secure it so its stable?hope you can help, thanks. Sorry mate but i dont think youll be able to fit hte pod in your VS, i looke dinto it for mine, but dont quote me on this. It doesnt fit straigh on, i cant remember but i dont think you can fit easily it without removing the air meter so thers gonna be a lot of stuffing around. And that plug doesnt plug into a pod anyway, and becasue its part of the air flow meter, if it is not connected the computer wiill actually reduce the overall power formthe engine because its not getitng all the info that it needs to adjust fuel. So either way the air flow meter is nto ganna be connected and the computer is not gonna be happy and youll loose power.I jsut went down to holden and bought a cold air intake for $60, easy to fit in 30 mins. Half the price fo a good pod, and it lets cool air into the engine. However makes a small diffence, particuarly when going up hills.

Probably better to save your money for some pacemakers or an exhaust.or a cam.and yella terra roller rockers(hey i can dream!). I hope this helps.
